    I still can't figure out what this is? Expanding saber? I don't get it...do you mean a blade comes out? The hilt collapses?

    The video that was posted earlier just showed the Luke RotJ hilt being manipulated. The hilt unlocks in places & telescopes open, exposing the insides of the saber.

    I was just watching Returning to Jedi and they showed the original expanding saber. Got me wondering if anything has happened with this project. Is it dead? I'm assuming so.
