And here is the m79 that is going on the display. It's a production made prop, not a replica.

Any more history on that M79It's super clean and accurate compared to the other Winston M79s I've seen with the Planet Hollywood statues and elsewhere. Does it have metal bits? or all resin?
Interesting factoid on the grendade launcher:
I am nearly positive that by the end of the film (when the Termainator is at his maximum level of damage - as represented in this and the PH statues) the M79 stock was shattered.
And, if I recall correctly, this is hard to discern in the film.
BUT...
All the PH statues use a model of the gun fully in tact.
It's not a screen used piece but came out of Winston Studios. It could have been the base for the PH guns, not sure on it. Neither is my source.
You are indeed correct. The Neca 7" figures included the shattered stock on one of the set. If I remember rightly you can see it clearly through the red 'Termi-vision' when the Terminator is reaching out for it just before the T1000 impales him.
You know I am a big Terminator fan, Steve, and this build is pretty awesome

Geeezus steve you do move fast. This is looking insane!
The skin tones and blemishes on the torso look unreal or should I say real lol.
Just out of curiosity, are you building a base for your client?
My buddy is building the base for it. Thanks Guys. I can't wait to finish this , then I'm building a lifesize T-1 and T-3 for the same client.
Wow! Looking forward to seeing those. One thing I am really hoping to seeing is a battle damaged arnie from the end of T3.
Best

Yep. That's the best one out there, hands down.
Looks awesome! What chrome paint do you use?
Hit a bit of a snag , the pants arrived but are much too small. Have to order them again.
Ughhh! Anyone need any leather pants in a 32/34?
Nice work Steve, looking forward to see this statue finished. Keep up the good work.![]()

Looking really great, those leather pants are going to be a real pain to get on that mannequin. Too bad you cant give him the funeral home treatment by cutting the back and resewing them up.
actually they will be easy. One leg comes off and i ordered them a little bigger.
The new pants arrived today, Still have to beat them up. Nearly done!
Ignore the belt, it's just a temporary until the new one arrives. Excuse my classy wifebeater and socks, I just got home from work . LOL

Hey looming really good there mate. It might because I'm using my iPhone to view this but the knee looks a little too big to my eye. Maybe it needs to place in the leg rather than on top?
He does look Awesome and I'd be proud to have him in my cinema room. Lol

it looks better in person. I didn't want to comprimise the stability of the legs by cutting into them too much. This is my first one, so I'm learning. I built out the other leg to sort of match the width with the endo leg.
The pants I found on ebay from a seller in India.
