Damn, man, that's cool

... Of course, you know that process cries out for a mini Leia. "Help me, Obi-wan Kenobi — You're my only hope."

Dang. Gotta run to the mall and get this done to mine now. What kind of base is that? It looks equally as cool.

well this sort of thing is new over here

as for the stand i used 2 things

the metal stand is from ikea ( used for holding kitchen stuff spoons knives etc etc )

the light was a cheapo fiberobtic bush like light
i just riped the leds out of it it only cost 5$

jay

the price was not too bad considering the guys who done it spent a bit of time getting it right ( they blew two in doing this )

i paid 35€ which would be about 40$

the guys from the store did offer me and a few other troopers a good discount if a few more troopers would like to have it done as well
but as always they blew it off ( typical some just like to spent all there cash on toys )

Yes, it looks great!!!!!

Like SSB stated, this really cries for some of the key hologram scenes to be done like this

Way cool, Jay.

And good call, Sheriff Brody. I'd love to see a Leia hologram made with this process.

seems we have hit somthing here

while getting my helmet scaned i talked a bit to the guys doing it
you can have practially anything pictured in glass

the hologram leia would be great

things you would need would be
first the figure you would have to paint this as it is already transparent
the best colour would be gray the scaner pics dark colours out better

you can also add any lettering ( you can also use your own fonts )

maybe somebody would take this up
the cost over here depends how many would be orderd

i know that custom jobs are bit more expensive

but they did offer us a great price if a few guys would have done it all they wanted was one white trooper helmet ( this they would have used on all the blocks ) and the guys could have any lettering they wanted tk number 501st etc etc

i would love to start this of but the main proplem is with the shipping over here in germany are post service is the pits and way to high

you have to pay about 40$ just to get it shipped

i think it would be cheaper if one of you guys in the states asked about this

i would love to get a few more of these

hope tis helps out

jay
