Just finished: TOS Star Trek 3-D Chess Set

No, the chess pieces are not correct. I am still looking for the Ganine "Classic" style pieces. They also used "Gothic" style Ganine in several episodes but I hate the looks of them so I am only looking for the Classic type, so far no luck

The base was a bit nerve racking to make. I was working at the functional limites of my lathe, I am glade it worked out!

Man, I saw some on eBay not that long ago. You might want to keep an eye out. The board looks terrific, you did an awesome job. Its def. one of the most memorable background pieces of the show.
