Thanks so much for your feedback guys, much appreciated.
Its my first time at attempting anything made from wood.
The part i did wrong was i took down the outside edge instead of leaving it high and taking down the inside of the bordered piece.
i am currently fixing it.
when this is complete do you guys know if there is any market for these?
do people want to buy em? and how much for?
Thanks
Check out the latest pictures.
Not a huge difference from the last stuff, but i think the lettering is complete.
Please comment.
Thanks

Personally I think there's a pretty big crowd looking to get an accurate replica. I've never seen one offered on these boards.
It'd be really cool if it had the inside and was functional with the drawers and such.
Thanks Rusty85,
I am working on the inside too, i want to get it as close as i can within reason. Taking into account that this is MDF.
The inside is going to be sculpted and cast from plastic. I'm just getting all of my materials together for this.
Ash.
what kind of price-range do you think people would be willing to pay?
a lot of man hours have gone into this.
just as an idea.
im also considering when its complete, to cast this and make plastic copies if i find a way to do it effectively.

I think the price would all depend on how accurate it is and what its made with. If it was fully loaded with the hinged door on the inside for the tokens and colored I'd say you could get quite a bit.
If it was just a raw cast, less but still a decent amount. Like I said, all depends on how well it turns out.
Hi, guys, just done a little more....
don't worry about the painted outside, it is not finished at all, i just couldn't hold off putting some colour on it, it is far from finished, been focusing a lot of time on the inside this week.
The perspex has been such a b***h to cut, so frustrating knowing that if i was still at uni i could have had it done in a matter of minutes if i had the CNC router and the right tools. but hey-ho, check it and and leave me a comment.
That's looking great. I'll keep checking back. Very cool![]()
i've got the cnc router... don't hav the cad file made though.
moar pics! im like having a heart attack over here waiting to see how GREAT it will turn out!
WOW! Great workmanship! Will be interested if you decide to offer these!
oh man! two days without an update! im getting so anxious to see how this is going to turn out!
