    Hello all, sorry to make a thread asking for help this early on, but I was wondering if anyone could lend a hand.
    I am searching for a resin kit, or just any sort of kit or pre built replics of Jaynes pistol from firefly(the lematt one).
    I have found one for close to 70 dollars, and I only really want to get it as a last resort. It is from Arsenal replicas. Is this a good replica? So far I have only really heard praise for Wilco and QMX. And neither of them carry a Jayne kit anymore as far as I can find.
    Can someone help me out? Would also be willing to buy spare parts to convert a denix lemat if anyone knows where to pick those up. Not much of a machinist.

    EDIT: Could I have a mod move this to the junkyard? Sorry for posting it here. I think this is better suited for a WTB thread there.

    Wilco's kit is pretty nice. Are you sure Wilco is done? As of last week his models were still up on eBay. Arsenal are notorious recasters, so I'd stay away.

    Arsenal is also known as Cool Models and they are a re-caster outfit and you wont find any good words for them here - http://www.therpf.com/f9/arsenal-mod...rs-not-112358/
    Also, their Jayne pistol is the least accurate of all the resin replicas and is pretty horrible.

    By far the best resin kit made to date was by JmTwo. He no longer makes them but they occasionally turn up http://www.therpf.com/f13/firefly-ja...in-kit-112842/

    The Wilco pistol is decent but has the wrong lanyard setup. This can be modified though. There's someone selling one on ebay for $125 which is an outrageous price in my opinion. Have you contacted Wilco to see if they still make them?

    Hey guys. Thanks for the tips on Arsenal, I'll steer clear.

    I haven't seen any jayne postings on ebay aside from the arsenal one. I contacted wilco last month about a Zoe kit but he never got back to me, I guess I will shoot him another message.
    Currently I am waiting on a reply from someone here trying to get rid of his kit.

    Sometimes wilco can take a while to reply. search ebay for "jayne special pistol" and the one i was referring to should show up.
