Looks like the accordion portion of one of those cheap air mattress foot pumps.

What about the colour pattern (not the blue grey vs grey), you appear to be following the light/dark of that other replica, when the screen cap is the opposite? Do other shots from the movie show it that way?

Mainly I have to colors as they are to make it easier to "read" in the artwork stage. Once the final prop is made, I plan to match the one in the movie as close as possible.
