Anyone ever make the knife Lt. Aldo Raine used to brand the Natzees??
I'm going to make a throwing version of that knife. It will have stag handles but not curved.
The movie knife is actually a real production knife they reworked.

Seiously, i like the look of it! Not a fan of horn handles though....

Do you know the model of knife they re-worked? It has the look of one of the larger Paul Chen/Hanwei Bowies.
It's a cheap Smith & Wesson Texas Hold Em' knife. They made 3 versions. This is the 16" one.

Heres a pic of it on the display. I cant decide if it should say something on the bottom, or just leave as is. I plan on making at least one more of these, hoping to get a little bit of a cleaner result.
does anyone recommend anything thats a "close-enough" knife? Ive found one thats sort of similar thats a replica of what marines carried in WWII, but I'm just dont wanna buy a piece of crap. I want something i can take on camping trips and such.
