Eli's Last Activity was yesterday 09:39 PM, so he did (or at least his account) did check the Rpf.



This story is awful, and I really wish him the best. That would certainly mess anyone up. My thoughts and prayers for the Eli's friend, and for Eli.

Do what you need to do Eli. Ship the order when you can.

Yes but you shouldn't just assume and announce you've been scammed or ripped off.

Let down and disappointed maybe. Heck the guy even got his money back. So in fact he was not scammed at all.

Innocent until proven guilty used to be important, lately it's been ignored.

I have bought from Eli and conversed with him via PM in the past; from my end he was very friendly, and extremely fast with shipping/responses.

Becoming very unsure about Eli, I'm sorry to say.. I've contacted him a few times about my items and am still waiting.. I opened a Paypal dispute and he didn't respond to it.. I esculated it and he has a couple of days left to respond with no sign of responding.. Last time I heard from him he said that my package was in customs cause they couldn't read his writing and said I will have it in a few days, that was 10 - 11 days ago.. I'm actually still waiting for the National Treasure tube which was the first thing I got from RPF, when I first joined.. That was 6 months ago.. So still waiting for my Tube, and Goonies Wallet and Newspaper..

I didn't want to say anything, due to the circumstances, but I just went through this with Coffee Addict, and gave benefit of the doubt, which cost me.. Anyone else still waiting?? Especially seeing he has been on the boards, even yesterday, but hasn't posted..

I can vouch for Eli! He has sent me two items in the past before this scenario and was very good on his delivery. If he is online he may be having a friend check the status of his accounts for him. He did mention he had a friend that was following up on orders for him.

And I have two boxes with his writing on them. His handwriting is very neat and legible.

I truly hope he is doing well.. I am hoping to see the package, he was nice enough to say that he would resend the tube, as I didn't receive it, not sure if it was sent back or something.. He mentioned that a friend was sending packages.. Just that I, and Paypal have been waiting for a response and I noticed he had popped in here, but hadn't heard from him.. That's why I was wondering if anyone else was still waiting for items.. I know members have gotten the Tube from him, so know he is reliable, just starting to get concerned..

I bought some items from jcharlie7... I never received my items and he promised me a refund. I bought these item on April and still not seen item or money...

These 2 trasnaction (the_eli and jcharlie7) was the only 2 transaction that I have problems in 8 years...

Yeah.. Very sus, IMO.. I won my dispute over it.. He never even replied to my bunch of emails nor pms.. He didn't even respond to Paypal about the dispute.. And actually got an email off him a few hours ago.. Here is part of the email:

Your tube and another one that had the silence dogood letters came back to me from customs with a warning. haha

I had sent out a hellboy samaritan and the buyer asked me to submit the value at 50 and so I did and than customs requested the original invoice and found out it was for more. I really didn't think much of it.

He also said if I still wanted it I can pay again etc, but I'm not going to risk it.. I still never even received my tube from January / February.. Bridge burnt..

Yeah, if you got your money back keep it! Sounds like a shady, thin excuse.

Hate to say it, but I think this one's gone into high risk mode. I sent him a message through his auction with the direct link to this thread, in the hopes of reminding him not to forget about all of you. His lack of a response does not bode well.

It was through the_eli back in February.. Said he sent it and waited and waited, nothing.. Thought he was nice to offer to resend it, and at that point paid for Goonies wallet and paper so he can send all together, and nothing.. No response, except for emails a while ago saying he had gotten someone else to send it etc.. Then nothing.. No response to Paypal about dispute at all.. And with the email I got today with the above excuse, sounds like he sent it which conflicts his first statement that a friend sent it for him..

I gave benefit of the doubt due to the circumstances, but I also did this for Coffee Addict, and we all know what happened there..

Especially seeing I have seen him online in the forums for past month or so.. Was even around 2 days ago.. So he does come on the boards and sees the topic, receives pms and seeing he's online would receive the emails.. But nothing.. Coffee Addict all over again..

I'm starting to get a little concerned as well.

I understand that personal situations can delay transactions, but communication is still necessary. I'd really feel more comfortable with either an update on the project status or a refund.

It's a shame because I have had positive dealings and communication with him in the past.

I just got a reply from the eBay seller linked in this thread. My response was to please convey the importance of an update to everyone here.

I'm assuming you are writing in regards to eli. I am his friend and co worker and tho we do work together through eBay, I do know that he has been getting back on his feet. He has address the maps people bought and I believe he only has two left to make. You have to understand there was a lot left to do both in career and other side gigs. Give him a chance. The person who died has been his friend since they were kids. They've been inseperable ever since until now and he may now have to inherit his kids. It's a huge blow. He has no intention of burning anyone.

I purchased a sideshow Hellboy Samaritan from Eli on April 7th which has never arrived.
Eli said he said he would send me a refund on May 21st but never heard from him again.
I have sent a couple PMs with no response.
I totally understand if there is going to be delay refunding me but it would be nice to receive a PM or an email to that affect. I am now starting to get a little nervous that I have lost my money.

Hello group,

For some I have been able to keep in touch and I want to say first off thank you for your patience and kind words. Since the passing of my friend, things have worsen as I was left to manage a lot of stuff and am currently in process of inheriting his two children. I am not sure if anyone has dealt with this sort of situation, but it is difficult and it has been a challenge to keep my regular life in order.

I understand there may be anger or frustration, and I posted this post because I wanted to make sure everyone who had done business with me was aware of the situation. I dont mind the opinion of people, or negative remarks as I am sure I would be in the same situation.

Now to business, I am having some friends help me get back in order here and help make everything right. I must stress there was never intention to burn anyone and if you have concern, I ask you to please email me.

First order, the PIRATES MAP:

I know a couple of people have gotten their maps. Indy has two on his way to him and Alexey should be getting his in Moscow this week or early next. If you want the status of your map, please email me and I will get the map to you asap if it hasnt already been shipped.

If you bought coins, none of them were shipped SO, If you can email me your email that you paid with and how many sets you bought and I will get those out.

ALL OTHERS:

For most, I have emailed and will try to address it all this week and get things moving.

I did have some problems with international shipping. Recently, I kept having delays in customs where I would be contacted for what I thought was a result of using the wrong form. However it turned out dealing with value. I was putting smaller amounts on the value so that there wouldnt be much of a tax on the items on their way to their destinations and customs requested invoices, or receipts and when I didnt produce them in time, they were sent back to me.

There is a lot of answers to questions and I will try and address them. However, I ask that you email me. I really honestly have been through a lot and I do not want to deal with attacks.
