Hoses and skulls on the Predator 1 suit

Posted this over at The Hunter's Lair but thought I'd ask here as well:

Have been thinking about this for a long time, but never really figured it all out. I want to create the best looking kit for my shelf, but need to know how many hoses connect the various parts of the P1 suit together and where are they attached.

I am pretty much aware of where all the large and small hoses are and approximately where they connect, but would like to get it just right. I have been looking at various fan suits and they all do it differently... watched the movie step-by-step to get the exact connection points on the armor for the hoses, but I never really get a clear view to distinguish anything.

Also interested in finding good reference pictures of the various skull and bones he wears as a necklace, etc. Think I have good pictures of the necklace bones... but need a identification of the skulls on the string around his chest, so I can find pictures of those animal skulls, so I can sculpt them myself. I don't know much about identifying animal skulls as most of them look alike to me, tbh... so, if anyone knows what they are that would be killer!

Any help would be appreciated.

I think the P1 had at least two hoses, maybe even three. All three connected on one side up by the temple.

The skulls, I had a look at the movie the other day and with 90% certainty, one of the skulls is from a Gar fish, and one is from a large fresh water turtle, possibly an alligator snapping turtle.

Sweet... thanks. I'll have to look those up to see if I can make some recreations that look accurate.

Yeah... I know about the three hoses connecting to the connector at the brow and one hose connecting to the left cheek... question is: where do these hoses connect with the suit? Always wondered that. I know that at least one connects with the plasma gun and two with the chest armor... but what about the fourth? Where does that connect to?

That's a good question, and of all the pictures I've seen of the suit, you don't get a good view of where they connect. Here's one particular image that shows the skulls.

Notice this photo shows the costume with no hoses! It may be that they weren't added yet, or perhaps they were left off for some reason.
There is the Sideshow Predator maquette that might help with the placement of the hoses. I'm not sure how accurate it is though. Every time a toy or model is made of this particular creature, something is always off.

Yeah... I checked out the Sideshow version extensively... and it doesn't seem to match up to screen captures and pictures of the real suit I've seen. Seems they had same problem as me and just added connection points on the armor where they thought they should go. I may be wrong here... but I just couldn't get all things to match up - may be due to my limited picture collection of the real suit.

Sorry there isn't anything out there with more specific information.
I guess you can put them where ever you like and it'll be just as accurate?
