I have always loved the sword Pan uses in HOOK. Has any one ever seen one, aside from the toy? Are there any good reference pics of it?

Im sorry I dont have photos to show, BUT I'm sure that I have seen them and they were made. I think by a member of the board years and years ago. Sorry I cant be more help, Ive lost most of my stored pics on a faulty hard drive :redfaceTimDrakeRobin said:

I believe that Tony Swatton of Sword in the Stone who made Captain Hook's Hook may be able to tell you who made it and and from there you may be able to get some reference pics...

Tim did you find out what kind of plating they used on the blade? It looks really nice on film

He said it was a 220 steel blade that had been gold plated.
Yeah, I saw the word back at planet Hollywood. I was a VIP guest there and they were acutally cleaning the prop so they let me hold it. Very heavy, probably from the plating on the blade and it was also very short like something a kid might use.....hmmm...like peter pan!
yea its quite short, trying to find out just how short right now.
Can't help you with the sword, but I did make a preplica from "Hook" that might go good with a sword stuck in it.

Well, I no longer have my original file when I made it...seems I somehow lost the disc that I saved it on. I won't be able to scan the original until around July, because it's currently in a pirate exhibit at the Whaling Museum of Cold Spring Harbor, NY (it had just been returned to me after spending a year in a pirate exhibit at the Mariner's Museum in Newport News, VI when I got the request from the other museum).Estel_MM said:
