HCG Predator Disc - Pre order

Just got an email from HCG - disc can now be pre ordered and it's a really good price - much less than I was expecting!!

WOW, that is a good price, I just wish they would sell it without the display, bring the price down even more!

Yea agree - it deserves better than that hand - good project for someone on the board to see what design could be done!

I've emailed em to see if they will do it without the base, maybe if enough people do they will - try it, cant hurt.

I don't understand why you guys don't like the base, it's Genius! I can't think of a better way to display it.

It is lovely and wonderful and a great idea, but it is too big for my display area so would just sit in the box in the loft and only serve to make RRP and shipping cost higher than without (and i bet its heavy)

It's a great looking replica and I for one very much like the hand display.

I don't remember the Predator sporting a fingerless driving glove. Was he going through a "breakdancing" phase or did it help him pilot his spaceship?

I wouldn't want sound, its supposed to glide silently thru the air b4 chopping yer bits off.

I agree, but if it has to be sold with a display I personally would prefer a wall mount.

Funny... I don't remember Predator wearing driving gloves either..

Both of the Predators in the first and second movie wore fingerless gloves, although they were a lot less than even fingerless. And they blended in with their skin color to some extent.

I’m sure you guys are right; I guess the glove(s) were just not something that stood out while I was watching the movies. Anyway, I sent an email as well. I dig the Disc, but really have no use for the hand stand. Regardless, it’s a great looking prop and I know I’ll be picking one up. I can always put the hand on my desk at the office and put highlighter pens between the fingers or something of that nature.

Yeah, I’m not feeling the hand display either. I would have much rather seen a wall mount like Icons did.

The disc itself looks very nice, maybe someone here will come up with an after market wall mount for it.

Compared to their $999 bio helmet yeah, that's pretty good...

I've been planning a wall mount display stand for my own disc, once this is released I'm sure I can see about making one that will fit this version too.
