I used spray insulation foam to support the cavity of my HIC mould if that's what you're referring to.
As for the lightsabers, I have. If you're asking how, it's a manner of unscrewing the screws, if any, and then prying apart the two halves of the hilt. If it's one solid molded piece, you'll either have to find a seam, a place where it's glued, or cut in a certain place and make your own halves so to speak. There's not much on the sabers that is an accurate size, save the newer Ultimate FX sabers which are closer. Anything specific about them you'd like to know? What are you planning?

Honestly, they should just slide out, unless the very bottom is glued in. The electronic sabers are hard, those blades are anchored down, but these flip out ones are cheaply enough made, It shouldn't be too much of a challenge
