HALLOWEEN III Masks...watch the magic pumpkin

Don't believe the haters! HIII is a masterpiece & I absolutely love how it collapses under its own weight so amazingly. Like "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai," this movie is just too damn smart for the common folk. Yup, Carpenter-Hill decided to class everyone's lives up & what did they get - boos...hisses. Not 'round my house. No sir. And I think there may 11 or 12 others who'd agree. Anyway, here's the basic start of my shrine to the craziest f$@#'n movie of all time. Conal Cochran...we'll always miss you & appreciate what you tried to do for us - and that's enjoy going out to restaurants & movies without having to listen to screaming children.

8 more days to Halloween....Halloween....8 more days....LOVE THAT MOVIE...and SOB that song sticks in your head. GREAT masks and REALLY good job on the sticker/chip.

I like the movie as a stand alone, and I think it would get a lot more respect as a film if it didnt have the "Halloween" name attached to it -

For the Halloween series as a whole, it sticks out like a sore thumb - But as for being a horror movie, I personally think its great -

I am one of the 11 or 12 others who agree. I like the movie and I loved Dan O'Herlihy's performance as Cochran, definitely one of the coldest and most evil characters I have ever seen.

you are correct Don post is re-releasing them...got to see them close up at mask-fest this year, and they are fantastic. Talked to Don, and the skull and witch are from the old mold. Pumpkin has be re-sculpted...but it is dead on. Compared it with an original and it's insane good.

What! I love Halloween III. I think the only reason it didn't do so well was that people were expecting more of the same with Michael Myers. If you view it on it's own, it's a lot of fun and creepy. It's not just a horror movie, but a mystery with a plot that twists and turns.

Your collection has just made me want to look further into this DP re-release (even though I know your's are not DP).

...now if they could just release a decent Michael mask....

I used to hate this movie, based on viewing it as Halloween III.

When I view it on its own now? I can really appreciate it. Good stuff!

Love the movie too and plan to get a set of masks myself somewhere this year. People should indeed see it as a standalone. And comeone people....it's got Tom Skerrit, great actor

Mola Rob. Hilarious handle. Oh Num Shiva, bro! (raises a beer). To be quite honest, I really don't care if these props are DP's or Silver Shampaign. It's the kind of prop that doesn't really require my usual stickler judgements. In all honesty, they're crumby, generic, seasonal K-Mart $8.99 masks. They're supposed to be. And I love them for it. When I see people pay up to $499 for the set, I just kinda' shake my head. But to each his own. I've certainly dropped jack-ass $$$ on a few absurd things myself. Hahaha. Obsessions & compulsions are hilarious.

I love the movie and what they were trying to do. Wish they had done more like this and moved away from myers. I was hoping TrickRTreat might be a seasonal halloween series but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Really nice, and yes i love the film too! you just have to realise that it's a good film in it's own right, and kinda ignor the sad fact that studio heads tried to crudely staple it with the HALLOWEEN franchise . . . great mask,and love the chip great work

Looks like, at the end of the year there will be a deluxe set offered, then the Mass produced ones for Halloween 2012.

I love this movie, too. I wish there would have been more "interludes" in the series. Having the series just be about MM got kind of boring. Parts 1 and 3 for me

That DP looks nice. The jack o' lantern was always my favorite so I may have to pick one of those up at least.

To me Halloween II ended the Myers story and I think they should have continued with a series of standalone stories. Myers was charred like a marshmallow thrown into a fire and I could never buy either him or Loomis surviving that. To me there are only three Halloween movies.

I wish someone was able to burn a DVD with the Silver Shamrock commercial and flashing pumpkin on it, just that looped over and over for a couple hours straight. No movie, just the flashing pumpkin with the Silver Shamrock song playing.

Many people would love to play it on an old tv in their displays, and right now the only link is on YouTube.

If someone could make that, you would be very popular here,
