Hallmark Golden Snitch

Hi People,

I was just wondering if anyone with a Hallmark Golden Snitch ornament could tell me the diameter of the snitch itself...
Is it accurately sized?

Could you possibly post a photo with it in hand for a size comparison?

I've been on a long quest for an accurately sized Snitch, so, if anyone could give me those details, it would be *huuuuuuuugely* appreciated!

Indeed! I'd love to see if its size is in the ballpark of the screen used version.

I don't have the ornament, but the Hooked on Hallmark site has the size as: 2 3/4 X 1 5/8 X 4 7/8 inches........
And this blogspot reports that it is approximately 3.25 inches with the wings folded......

So, if it is a little over 3 inches with the wings folded, I'm just making a guess as to which parts the what the HoH measurement represent--the diameter of the golden ball is the 2 3/4 inches, the wing span with wings open is the 4 7/8 inches and the 1 5/8 is probably the width of the wing at it's widest.......just my guess. You are free, of course, to draw your own conclusions unless/until someone who has one posts up something!

I'm not too sure how the wings move - I was under the impression that they were fixed in place. Different sites are listing different things, and it's a little confusing! haha...

In one way, I can see dimensions that fit what I'm after, in others, measurements that are a bit larger than I'd like.
All is irrelevant now, as I have bought one and am waiting for it to arrive.

I suppose it doesn't really matter in the end, as I'm mainly planning to use it as a reference for my own sculpting, but I'd still love it if anyone with a suitable photo posted one!
