I found them in the action figure isle, on the shelf directly below the movie masters figures. They may not have reached all locations yet, but I am willing to bet they will be in abundance soon enough.
Pfffft....Went to two Toys R Us and they didn't have the ring.
And while we're at it, I have a gripe -
I walked into Toys R Us and went to the action figure section...I saw a very poor selection of Green Lantern movie figures. I didn't see the ring, so I decided to look around TRU to see if there was any other cool stuff.
As Im walking about 50 yards away from the action figure section (almost on the other side of TRU, where they keep bikes and skateboards) they have a huge Green lantern cardboard standup with a ton of Green Lantern Movie action figures.
What pisses me off, is - Why is it that when they release a new toy (or DVDs) they always have to have the majority of the toys/DVDs on display in a cardboard standup, in a totally different location of the store?
If I were looking for Green Lantern figures I probably would have looked in the action figure aisle and left because the seleciton sucked. I probably wouldn't have even seen the cardboard standup that was on the other side of the store with the crapload of figures.
Most of the times they have the standups and special displays of the newly released toys right as you walk in...But every once in a while they pull some stupid crap like this.
Every figure I saw at my Toys R Us had a ring with it. I think they were all the Green Lantern though, lol. I don't know much about the different versions, but I'm guessing its different than the one that comes on the keychain?
Yeah, I got sukered into buying the light-up one that comes with the mask. The light feature is VERY cool but that ring is so small even the wife couldn't wear it on her pinky.Rusty85 said:

And to keep it on topic, I didn't find any rings either and I checked that place up and down to make sure they didn't have them hidden somewhere.

I couldn't find any at my TRU either. I had my wife looking all over the place. She wanted to find it so I would shut up about getting one.
the TRU i go to should have them by the end of the week
they had plenty at my TRU but when i asked they said they would be getting more in 2 weeks
My TRU is sold out. I found the spot for them in the aisle but no rings on the pegs. New truck comes in Friday but I'll be in CA... BOooooooo
Anyone know what size of Ring comes with the Action Figures?
Yea, I couldn't find the ring. Seems like they had every other GL toy under the sun though...
I found one at the second TRU I went to.
The part number for this in stores is 679668, so if anyone needs to call around looking for it you can ask for the Green Lantern ring keychain and use that number. That saves a little bit of hassle trying to explain exactly which item you're calling about.
Looked around my local TRU today and they did not have the ring.
And strangely their GL section had been greatly reduced since two weeks ago.
i went to tru today after school and couldnt fing them with the other green lantern figures, but i asked someone there and they said that they had just gotten in a new box of green lantern stuff so she went ang got it and when she opewned it up it was full of these rings so i got one and i plan to go back soon and get a couple more. as far as the ring goes, its awesome. and it fits me perfectly. i also got a couple of figures with the cheeper rings but theyr so small that they wont even fit my pinkey so ill be giving these to my little brothers.
i honestly dont know. heres a pic with the ring and some change for referance. the inside of the ring is almost exactley the same size as a nickle.velmc1 said:
