Gary's 2nd BTTF Diversion prop: BTTF III "Delorean"

I can't help it... I've been on a BTTF III kick these past couple of weeks.
This one is ALMOST done. I just need to do the headlights and that's it.



I've been wanting to do this replica for a good long while. I've had the shell casings sitting around forever. Yeah, I know they didn't have 44 shells in 1885, but I just went with it.



The master was made from sheet styrene in a night or two and then resin cast.



The wheels were laser cut acrylic with brass axles and an axle mount made out of a brass hinge. The strips are aluminum sheet with a coat or gunmetal paint which I'll weather a little more when I have time.



And a little comparison between testing models.



I think I need to try something from one of the other two films now...

Hello everybody, I´ve been desperate seeking for dimension for this beatifull prop with no succes so far. User UFO has offered me some sizes so hopefully they will arrive soon.

Anyway...I used Google scketch up and based on a papercraft Delorean profile image... I distortioned it a little bit and came up with the following...

Will you please tell me if proportions looks more or less OK for you ???
Also...wich are the shell caliber to be used in this prop ??

One last question....any clue on the headlights ???? I just can not see them clear in the screen caps I can get...

Sorry it's taking so long but unfortunatly alot of my collection is in storage as I'm living with my in laws temporarily .Don't worry in due time my friend
