That's IT base gun found!!!!!!! You won't believe how happy u just made me, I've always said there was a base gun used but certain others have always poo-pooed the idea saying it was scratchbuilt!!
All I need now is to find one

I always thought it was scratch-built, that's awesome! I've always wanted to replicate this gun. I recognised that piece, too.
Awesome find! Now we just need to locate one, and mold the muthor!!!
By the way, I would like to suggest we change the name of this gun to the "GDC-2263"
GDC = "Gimme Da Cash", and 2263 is the year that Fifth Element takes place in. Just a suggestion

I now have a version of the base gun in hand, so maybe I can move forward with this a bit.

Very cool. I have a morganthirteen calico which was used as a base also and maybe you could help identify the parts attached to it. It s the gun the tattooed dragon model mangalore had... Man that's a mouthful. Hope to see more progress.
