We will shortly be issuing a little Bond related announcement with more details on the gun, and confirmation of the signature edition.. which despite the terrible snow in London was completed on Friday of last week… I guess mere bad weather does not stop a Sith Lord or the Lord of Summerisle. What a professional and a true gentleman!

The plaques where then whisked off to Sir Roger is going to complete them over Christmas in the very Bond’esque locations of Switzerland and Monaco! The plaques will have more air miles than Bond himself when they are finally make it to customers.

As you can see form the copy the replica itself has more confirmed features, including actual Gold Plating. I cannot wait to show you the initial prototypes.. they are looking brilliant! Peter Lamont signed off on them last week and was very impressed.

Golden Gun Details Copy
DATE – We are incredibly proud to announce not one, but two versions of our forthcoming Golden Gun 1:1 Scale prop replica from the iconic James Bond production The Man with the Golden Gun.
Both versions are accurate and detailed non-firing replicas of the props seen on screen and assemble and disassemble into the component parts; Scaramanga’s lighter, cigarette case, pen and cufflink. Each replica will also include a unique 4.2mm caliber ‘007’ inscribed replica bullet than can be loaded for display into the weapon that so famously only held one bullet .“ I only need one, Mr. Bond.”
Each replica will be produced to the highest standards and will be manufactured from both cast and machined aluminum and alloy parts and plated in genuine 18 ct gold. Also included is a unique ‘007’ branded museum quality display stand and acrylic cover that will allow any collector to display this stunning piece at the center of their collection. The replicas will also be accompanied by a specially designed and highly detailed booklet detailing the history of the original prop and the fabrication and design of the replica as well as behind the scenes interviews and information from the cast and crew .

pricey i'm sure , just from the private signings alone from them two and then add the gun.

Here is our plan for the Golden Gun. Both versions will go on pre-order as soon as we have absolute confirmation from the factory that the quoted shipping dates will be met. We don’t want to break any promises or let people down which is why we are being conservative and waiting. Frustrating I know but we don’t want to start bad habits and would rather exceed people’s expectations if we can. We are working 110% on getting the gun out ASAP, but want it done right and don’t want to rush any part of it.

As soon as we have confirmed dates we will open the preorder, this will be announced in an email and through our website.

In advance of that; anybody who contacts us before the opening of the pre-order will be placed on a wait list and will receive the option to place a priority pre-order first. They will be able to pre-order either version. We will contact them via email advising the relevant details before we open the preorder and asking them if they want to place a pre-order based on their early interest, in a first come first served fashion. As soon as these first priority pre-orders are satisfied we will open the general pre-order.

The SE editions will be priority to direct customers first, to ensure that as many people as possible get one and no scalping occurs. We will NOT be offering the SE version at wholesale to retailers or resellers until all direct demand has been met, and then will only be offering it to established wholesale customers that we have a relationship with and who have supported us previously or key ‘Bond’ retailers who have a vested interest in the brand and products. Perhaps a little draconian but we want to make sure people who really want these get them and that they do not become an Ebay meal ticket for carpetbaggers.

We hope to be able to announce pricing and pre-order information in late Jan. Would someone be so kind as to point me to a source of information on this project? I keep hearing hints here about it but details have been scarce unless I missed something. The last two threads about it have sounded a bit like continuations of conversations from some other context.

My apologies for being so quiet about FE lately. I do have some wonderful news. As you know licensing has many hurdles and I am delighted to report FE passed their final one.


The prototype passed EON's inspection and pre-orders should start in about 2 weeks with a HOPEFUL delivery of some time in August...watch this space for more information!
