Here's a couple pics of my ESB Vader display.
I only took a couple and they weren't lit very well. However I plan to take a lot more in the same style that I've done for my ANH Vader display, and then ROTJ next.

Thanks guys. I'll post pics as long as there is still an interest in seeing them.
Wow ! this is just one of the best ESB helmet I have seen !!!!!
This awesome piece might be unique.
Can't wait to see more pics of your ESB display![]()
Wow that looks great!!! I love this version.

Thanks again guys.

That looks AMAZING!!! I think the fact that there are SOOOO many bad ESB Vaders around that makes a great one stand out even more. I can't wait to see your ROTJ since that is my next project!![]()
Excellent work GINO, the detailing and accuracy is awesome![]()
Gino, it does look nice, along the lines of a chronicles Vader at this stage.
I know this is a WIP...Do you have any plans to modify a couple of parts such as the cape, dome, or cod in the future? I think your straps on the chestbox are also better but a little off in terms of the brown faded black colour which is no big thing which you know I'm sure. The chestbox looks more accurate in details than your other one from what I can see also. The belt, robes and suit seem to be the strongest assets from what the picture shows I can't see the seams on the suit but I'm sure you have them. Additionally I see you have better details this time like the stitch of the pleats on the robes and some other details that you have paid closer attention to. I would be interested to see if that paint job in general is a little too nice compared to the poor finish of ESB and I can't see many of the flaws on the armour that the original has but granted it is a small picture. The other details if I mention them it may seem I'm getting petty so I will leave them aside.
When I mention the cape, the material seems good and the outside shoulder drape etc is fine but the inner details and satin with the inner stitch bagging out Is what I mean in a scruffy fashion like the screen used, a bit like a big version of my avatar pic and all the other ESB ones for that matter for the consistency.
I like the presentation. A little too symetrical and idealised but it looks tidy. Oh and BTW, not a dig, just constructive and before you ask mine is not finished, yet...

I trust my judgement on these matters quite a bit more than yours but thanks for the input anyway.
LOL..Not at all Gino, I was trying to help. We will see who is jealous of whom in the near future if thats how you want to play things.
Oh and BTW, I have never got jealous of anything, not in my character, just ask around.
All the best...
If you are referring to you run of supposed cast off original ESB boxes, then you would be wrong, because I already have that. We'll see if what you claim to have is what you think it is, as I am doubtful.
If you are referring to your work in progress ESB vader, then challenge accepted.
If you want to turn it into a challenge than I'm happy to accept. Just know my competition is with the screen used ESB not yours and most of my parts are cast from there additionally.
Lets leave it there as you can't take any form of guidance apart from come back to turn it into an argument with your book of one liners and enjoy bumping your own thread in the process.
Cool. Just let me know when you are ready, whenever that is.![]()
In all the years I've known Gino, I haven't had any reason to doubt his total and absolute attention to detail. He has an uncanny knack of getting a prop to look screen used (accurate). He has the VERY HIGHEST standards and he will not leave a single stone unturned till he gets that goal.
You have my fullest respect Gino.![]()

Will do...![]()
I love the chin-up pose you choose, I think iit resumes the spirit of ESB Vader perfectly. The helm is absolutely stunning.
Congratulations
