E11 Sterling conversion.......Starting.........

Hi ,
I just thought I would show off a bit and post a picture of my long ongoing project of a Sterling E11 conversion.
I think I have got everything together to start this little beauty.
Real Sterling SMG, real Hengstler Counters( one metal cased), real scopes M38, M40 and a M19, Russreps fine power cylinders and some T Track from Saberfreek, I might up grade to Ginos but not sure yet as this has cost me my arms and legs so far!
I also have another Sterling but I might sell that on as I need to recoup some of the cash I just spent on this strippable Sterling.
Now the picture.............

Those bottom two scopes look like NOS.....pristine!

Nice but that folding stock looks weird on that sterling, the forked rail part never seen one like that.

I've noticed some of the sterlings have that raised bit on the stock. Whatever the case, you will end up with a nice E-11 when you are finished!

I agree about the shoulder stock being inaccurate...looks like the stocks on the later MK5 or the canadian C2 sterlings (owned a few in the fast but sold them later on).

You might want to check your second sterling and swap the foldable stock, in case the non-strippable L2A3 has an accurate one.

The stock is from the mk 3/4 and made around the 60's, i have the same one on my E11,we probally got them from the same seller.Mine has a m40 scope and all i need to do are a few cosmetic finishes and then it's done.My other Sterling i'm keeping all natural as it's such a thing of beauty (and of course violence)just like a woman

man i wish i could get a real sterling, i have made 4 pvc ones with some real parts and some resin and i have the MR one. someday i guess
