Doctor Who: The Fourth Doctor's Tartan Scarf (Terror of the Zygons)

Hi, guys!

Many Doctor Who fans will instantly recognise Tom Baker's Doctor from a mile off from the ridiculously long colourful scarf that he wears. Now, whilst I'd love to own one of these scarfs, I'm not planning on getting one from online stores (I know the prices can be justified, but I am on a budget).

It turns out that Tom Baker wore a different type of scarf in the opening scenes of Terror of the Zygons - and one I considered easy.

A tartan scarf that's nearly the same length as his regular scarf, it seems.

So, I managed to get a hold of two tartan scarves that were nearly the same pattern, butchered them a bit, sewn together, and voila!

The part which was sewn together wasn't exactly neat, I'm afraid to say...

The pattern is nearly there, but the print is not as sharp as the original - but heck, I'm happy with it. When not wound around my neck, both ends go just above the ankle. Long enough for me!

What do you think?
