Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special Prop Discussion Thread

If Timelords got away from screws, why did the Doctor develop a Sonic Screwdriver? We see him use it to work on the TARDIS in the classic series.
Of course they use screws! The tardis console is covered in screws and bolts. Big, noticeable ones right in full view (even the new, sleek, non-junky version). And even the sonic screwdrivers have visible screws.

No it isn't there. was there today n yest taking pics of the moment 'a sides, symbols, n patterns beneath its cogs etc...as I've paid fr 1 to made. I'm really not a prop maker myself but big fan of props n loved this! The 1 dwn the experience is on display at the entrance so u dnt even hav to pay to see it. Alongside rivers 3 3 diaries, red heels, alpha meson blaster n torch

Really wana get a " handles" head made ( as this is on display there along with the thing he rests the helmet on in the Tardis) but with no toy head like older cybermen it's impossible. Lots of awesome stuff dwn the experience well worth a visit! Fr the money

Thought I'd throw up some shots of my Moment. It's "cosplay quality" meaning I a) made it to be carried around all effing day, and b) didn't put so much work into it that I would cry or it would be un-repairable should something happen to it.

Enjoy!
