Many of you may not know me, but if you did you would know that I build scratch-built lightsabers for friends and family for their birthdays, Christmas, sales, etc. One friend wants me to build her Anya Kurro's (is that spelled right?) lightsaber as a birthday gift for her when she stumbled onto Luuke's site a while back. The thing is... I know absolutely NOTHING about the techniques that went into making this saber or how to do them, much less scratch-build (which I am good at on other saber models) the danged thing. Any help would be appreciated!

P.S. If you can't offer help on how to make one, could you direct me to a place where I might could buy one? Thanks!

What Luuke had to say about the saber (thanks to the Wayback Machine at www.archive.org) -

I'm especially proud of this lightsaber I brought into the real world. This lightsaber was 96% custom sculpted by myself. That includes the custom crystal on the pommel. The main body and pommel sleve was sculpted on a wooden dowel using sculpy compound. After it was baked in the oven I pulled a silicone mold from it and made resin castings. The pommel crystal was made by taking a wooden egg and dremeling in the detail. It was then heavily clear coated so the castings would have a smooth, clear, surface. They were pressure cast in clear resin with tinted dyes added. The emitter is parted together with washers, lock ring and aluminum pipe. The custom paint work was a six step process to give it that organic look.[/b]
And a PM sent.

And one more thing... She wants it to be a stunt/hero saber with removable blade (my bamboo sticks with multiple layers of colored tape) for belt haging. And if that won't work (which I'm SURE it won't), I'll just get her a hero saber for her birthday and get another one and convert it into a stunt saber for either Christmas or her next birthday.

Sorry for not including this in my first post.
