    Mar 8, 2009 - BTTF 2 Doc's emergency cash #1

After a long time tracking many websites with a few screenshots, I've finally found all the banknotes from the briefcase.
I started my quest many years ago and today I can go to sleep ...

    Right side of the briefcase

    Left side of the briefcase

But unable to find the briefcase ...

Very cool! I am big BTTF fan and this is a prop that I have never seen done before! I would imagine that the case is a found item but the plexi-insterts were fabricated. Right?

I had a picture of the original prop but lost it !

The case is very square and plexi was made to fit in.

But I think I will put the cash in a frame like on the pictures I post.
It amazing to have money from all of these years.

And funny to think about the difference between $1 1955 and $10 1985.

I relaunch the search of the briefcase...
It seems to be aluminium like this one:

At the left bottom side we can see a cylindrical space ... (casino chips?)

Why is there 2 screws each side of the handle ?

Very light locking system for this kind of briefcase...

Tomorrow I will measure my bills to have dimensions of the briefcase, good night folks.

I dont think these are real bills in the case, more like the generic movie money. I can definately see this one in the prop case

Did you see my pictures ??? It's all real money !!! Look in the movie too ...

I've take many screenshots, use Ph.t.sh.p and spend hours on many website to find THE TRUTH.

What I've search for years is here:

    Left side of the briefcase:

    $1 1955 (1934 silver certificate)
    $1 1923 (silver certificate)
    $2 1917
    $20 1864 (C.S.A.)
    $5 1934 (silver certificate)
    $5 1914
    $10 1902
    $10 1864 (C.S.A.)

    Right side of the briefcase:

    .25 1875
    .10 1863
    $10 1985
    $20 1914
    $50 1914
    $2 1861 (bottom of the 1917)
    $2 1861 (bottom of the 1917)
    $1 1864 (C.S.A.)
    $20 1864 (C.S.A.)

    Sorry but no propmoney!
It's more realistic to use real money if you travel in time.
I think laws ever punish for counterfeiting money

    The dimensions of the briefcase:

    Around 38 x 35 (cm)

    Around 15" x 13,77"

It looks like military ? medical ? art painter ? Aluminum Notebook Briefcase 15" screen ?

Shake the RPF and hope the coconut will fall at the right place ...

It kind of reminds me of a safety-deposit box, but I don't think I've ever seen one that thin...

Make sure you bring lots of modern cash - most of these authentic bills in good condition are very collectible and very expensive.

not sure about the case money in the movie, will have to check it out.

though I'm 100% sure the money in that picture of the prop is motion picture money. the others look pretty much the same, just have different fake president portraits for each denomination.

Yeah, some of them are a lot. I'm going to bring enough to buy (maybe) the first half of them. The people there are nice, and know me.

This picture is not the good one !
If you want talk, I can post a screenshot from the movie.
This one was made for a show or something like that.
Some bills are not at the same place than on my pictures and some others are missing.
My pictures are the same like in the movie but without the briefcase.
Don't be shy !!! take theim as a reference ...
I spend enough of my time to know what picture is good or not.

The picture from BTTF.com is here just to show the briefcase.

sorry Brigandia36, wasn't challenging your research in any way, I was just pointing out the money from the breifcase image, which you have now clearly stated is not the same as the movie
