It's recently been announced that pieces from the new BSG series will be going up for auction sometime next year after the series finale.
Too bad I don't have enough money to participate. I'd love to get my hands on a real season one sidearm!![]()

The screen used stuff is generally out of my price range as well, but I'll be keeping an eye out. Perhaps I'll get the shot to pick up something small and have a screen used item in my collection at last.
Anyone have a link to when and where and how the auction will be?
The SciFi.com article on this included a link to the auction page: http://battlestarprops.com
I'm right there with you RedTwox. Screen used is generally very expensive. I have a feeling that this auction will bring in the same sort of money that Star Trek did.
It would be nice to get something, but at the very least this means we'll all get to see some close-up photos of props!![]()
Cool that some props/set pieces can end up in some fans' hands.
I'll be bidding, no matter go small it is I have to have something from this show!!!
Ewe! starbucks flight uniform?
Geezz... I hope someone washes it first...
I hope someone from here gets Galactica's jump key (assuming they sell it), so we can finally figure out what the %$@! it's made from!
^Hey, if you've got info, do tell!![]()
That's really about all I can remember. I've actually handled the prop on the show - I ended up at the FTL drive at one point during the series finale....but that was about 5 or 6 weeks ago, and I don't remember a lot of detail. But I saw the prop guy replacing the batteries in the lasers at one point. He's the one who said "it's just a couple of lasers behind 2 crystals."
