Oct 17, 2008 - Blade Runner Blaster "Other Knob" #1

I was at a Gun show last month with a fellow member when checking out some vintage WWII Electronics whena part on a Telegraph set jumped out at me. This was it...

It is a binding post and is nickle plated brass. I am curious to how many people here may have already known about this one?

I also found a company that sells similar replicas here...

Thread about it at propsummit here...

Isn't it funny how obvious some things are when somebody else has pointed them out to you first! Nice find.

Thanks guys (including any girls ). I am still trying to find cheaper sources for the accurate posts. As is these Telegraph sets sell for over $100, and the only other semi common source I have found has only 1 post, and sells for over $50 usually. I may have found some other sources, but am waiting for confirmation. There are posts out there that are more close to the replica that often appear on the same sets, probably replacements by collectors. I will try to post updates first on propsummit when I get the info in.

...Anybody have any information or insight on the marking on the base of the post?

    Thanks again,

From my talks with Coyle about the gun way back when, I seem to recall him saying he made it from the stunt castings he had access to. Of course that would have only been one half to two thirds of the full circumference. I am sure if he is around he can give a better answer. He may have just made two cast off the stunt and cut them to marry them together. Again, only Rich can answer that.
