Does anyone have any good resolution pics of the Biker Scout? Specifically, I need some of the helmet all around.
Please email them to lightningfork1@yahoo.com or shoot me the link to any online reference.
Thanks!

There are detailed pictures of an original in the gallery on bikerscout.net![]()
Okay, found it. Thanks so much! Wish they were a little higher resolution, but I'll take what I can get.
Does anyone know if there was anything in the ear vents originally? I have seen some folks use wire mesh and others use black sponge, but I haven't found any pics of the original helmet with anything in there . . .
There's a gallery solely dedicated to detailed photos of a screen used helmet at Bikerscout.net:

including this shot of the interior. The ear vents are empty, but this photo shows a black rectangle material pasted behind the opening on the inside:

Has anyone ever found what the head band inside is actually from?
It always reminded me of those protective visors you wore in science experiments at school. We had ones with that head band, and a clear u-shaped visor that protected your face.
Similar to this:

However the ones we used were grey like the biker scout. Notice on the link and the pics of the helmet the toothed turn bit on the back...seems to match.

Screen Cap #408 you can see right through the opening to the back armor.

The actual part is from a 3M Speedglass welder's mask. It comes with the accurate bolts (that were actually the grey bolts on the outside of the faceplate) .. read more here:

I need the correct headband also and would like to know where to get one in the UK.
Also, does the headband come with the accurate grey bolts used for attaching the face/visor to the helmet?
Keith.
