    Aug 10, 2011 - Best Glue for Spray/Expanding Foam? #1

I'm putting together my Han in Carbonite. The Han section is a resin shell filled with expanding foam. So most of the underside surface is this foam, with a small outer edge of resin. I need to glue this down to primed wood, so I was wondering what kind of adhesive would be best. I don't want to dissolve the foam, of course, and I know some material will do this. This is a large area, so those small tubes of two-part epoxy aren't practical. I need something that can be brushed on preferrably.

I will also be drilling into it from behind and putting some bolts into it, to give it more support when standing upright. I'll end up putting glue on the bolts too.

    Thanks,
    Scott

I was going to suggest Liquid Nails, which is probably the same stuff as the PL construction adhesive that robotprops mentioned.
