    Jun 20, 2010 - Assassin's Creed 2 "hidden blade" WIP #1
    Just as a side project (to use my hands not to work on the computer...), I'm working on and off on this thing, and I'm halfway doing the gun + poison stinger plate that goes over the blade itself...
    This is what I got so far...

    The mockup of the template, to layout the proportions


    My "virtual wirst" (almost an arm acctually!) to sculpt over it...


    The sculpting process done (super sculpey)





    Baked...


    Primed with black...



    I have to buy some metallic paint and then I'll paint this thing and I'll model the remaining parts, then I'll try to tackle the entire gauntlet (the leatherwork will be a PITA I'm sure...)

    Marc, let me find someone who could help me with the molding and casting process and I'll make copies! (So far I still have never cast a copy of my works... How weird is that?!?)

    I know I still have a lot to do, and finding the time isn't easy, but apparently I can sculpt fairly quickly (and I should have a some sort of addiction for detailed props... Don't ask me why!)

    @ Miracleman: Yes I thought of making the buckle Actually I thought of doing the entire costume Ezio is wearing at the beginning of the game (Giovanni's assassin outfit that Ezio discovers in the chest in the hidden room) it is a great costume

    OMG!!!!!!!!!! frakkkkkkkK!!

    This is one of the parts I've still got in the planning phases (still working on a lot of the base armor bits and such between other work)

    But call me a prood (or stubborn, or whathaveyou), and don't want anything on my costumes that I haven't done 100% on my own ... If I would have someone else aid me in my personal AC2 project (or commission someone else for parts) man, this would be it!

    regardless, i think in this case, at minumum, I would want one from you to at least frame, just to have something for a collection from those whov'e always respected as an illustrator(though I'd really want it signed by you as well )

    Dude this is seriously amazing! I sculpted one of these bad boys myself but yours puts mine to shame XD But you've inspired me to go back and rework it (I was actually planning to recast it anyway since my mold tore apart on me and I never got a cast that I was 100% happy with, none of the finer details transfered since I was using brush on 40 which doesnt pick up detail as well as some other mold making materials. )

    I think you could make good money on these if you got someone to help you make a mold from it.
