Hey guys! I'm wondering if there are any Rocketeer helmet or jetpack Pepakura models available for download. Has anyone seen anything? If so, how's the accuracy on them? Thanks for your help!

There΄s a helmet out there, try rocketeer and pdo in google
No idea about accuracy though, but should be a neat project.
Thanks for the heads up! I found the file that comes up quickly in the search results, but it looks like it's probably pretty far off... At the very least, the eyes are completely wrong. They look "sad" or "scared" instead of "angry," if you know what I mean.
If anyone knows of any other ones - or accurate dimensions/blueprints for the pack or helmet - please post away!
Thanks again,

papercraft is huge in Japan.
so try searching Japanese site for them.

is a good place to start.
Rocketpack Measurements

Good info in that thread - odd that the overall height is left out though!
Could anyone provide a good measurement for the helmet that I could scale from? Maybe the length of the fin, or the helmet's overall height? I think I may try to model this myself to make a pepakura file from...
Thanks again!
not sure if you saw this or not but here is a video of the pepakura rocketeer helmet

that guy that has the pdo on rocketeer is called nintendude or vagabond. he posts on (surprise surprise) the 405th. apparently he is working on a pep for the back pack.
as with most of his stuff, accuracy isnt great, but they form a nice base for a project though
Nate
would love to add that file to my pep files next, very neat
here is one i found, im not sure if it's still good because i dont have any way to view the file, or if its unfolded or what.

i just googled rocketeer pdo like man from naboo said. id be interested to know what needs to be done to it before one prints it out and starts folding.
If anyone can find some good ref pics, I can alter the existing file and make it more accurate. I just need a frond side and back but the pics need to be of the same size.
would this help any?

if you are looking for accuracy, dont use the Master Replicas helmet as a reference. It is very inaccurate.
Try to look at pictures of the acme helmet: here is a link

If you search in the screen-used section, I have pictures of my production helmets that can be used as a reference

After looking at the Youtube link posted earlier, and I'm assuming this example is the same file you had found, It looks to me like the eye opening positions had been swapped. Thus giving the "sad" or "scared" look. I'd say make an extra copy to cut out the eye openings and use the usually discarded parts as patterns to swap the correct positions for the more "angry" look.
I'm familiar with Pepakura, but haven't worked with any yet. So I may be over simplifying this.![]()

yeah i would imagine not cutting out the eye parts until you've made them correct. its paper, you dont have to completely follow the instructions 100%.
anybody finish a jetpack file yet? Id love to start this hobby with the jetpack
