Another Dredd 3D Lawgiver

Cheers for the positive feed back all. I'll be looking into improving the design over the next month maybe. Just a few minor things need work. :)

fantastic job, really clean and looks lovely. I REALLY wish I had a laser cutter. All these Lawgiver's are making me wish I'd finished mine....

Hi Skeg, brilliant thanks for sharing. Another thing on the build list nad I'll need to buy a Glock. That will be a happy wife, again.

Any chnace of getting a copy of the display as well, sorry to be cheeky.

Im re-working the trigger area atm and also trying to build a dredd helmet. lol.
 
So, I've been a tad slack and haven't even uploaded that "display" pic. I will get around to it this week. :facepalm

I thought I would post my progress on the lawgiver. I've re-worked the trigger area but will still try to improve it more. I also made a start on the the iron sights. I've made 2 types of barrels too. :) I do wish that I made the body longer in the rear, but I'm not looking at re-doing atm.

Anyways hope you like it & there will be more to come.

I'm going to weather the shell at some stage too. Just not to confident in doing it.

Hey Skeg awesome build! I also use Corel X3 for all of my scale drawings.

I would love that file but the link won't work for me. Gaaarrrr! Any chance of shooting it over to me via email? It could even be a cdr file if you wanted.

that armour looks great! what material are you using for it?

with regards to the ammo :- I've still yet to decide for mine on the criteria of what looks best and/or fits but bear in mind the Glock takes 9mm.

Birdie who also made his Lawgiver bought inert 9mm rounds for his and it looks pretty cool.

in the meantime though heres a screengrab from one of the featurettes that shows what looks like 9mm kinda rounds in the fore mag

Hmmmm. Might just pick up some dummy 9mm rounds I guess... That'll do the trick. Might paint a band of colour for the different types of rounds.

Regarding the armor Baron - an old camping matt and PVC for the plates. Ill prob heat the PVC and conform it a little. To help it sit not so "flat". Clearly I still have a while to go.

Re-worked trigger area. Added dummy rounds to front mag. Include brass and nickel rounds. :)
