Gino,
That is looking very good. Is it a trick of the light or is there a bit too much silver on the facemask?

If that doesnn't truly capture the Tantive IV look, I don't know what will!
Great job Gino!

Wow!!!!!!!! That looks fantastic Gino. Looks perfect. Geat looking lid and belt.![]()
INcredibly nice!! What are you using for a ROTJ helmet, now you've sold the other??
Wow Gino!
That is just a stunning display.
Fantastic work.
Lance
That is one truely Craptastic paint job!!really captures the look of the original

Most impressive, by far the best fan made ANH I've ever seen.![]()
Thanks everyone for the kind words.
Also, thanks to everyone who helped me out along the way with this or that.
There's still a bit to go. Things to tweak actually.
Still need to make gloves for all three.![]()
Gino, wish my ANH vader would look half as great as yours. What parts do you use? Any chance to disclose these secrets?
It's great to see an ANH Vader with a scuffed and scratched helmet at last. Very nice work Gino!
Jeremy
Your anh is looking awsome m8. youve probably posted it b4 but can you tell me the paint info you used on the mask, my silver grey mix is too reflective and yours looks spot on.
ive got a set of leather esb gloves if they are any use to u.
Appreciated, but I plan on making the gloves myself. It's possible that it might turn into a very small run to help bring costs down.
Looks great Gino, I like the paint job on the helmet/facemask.
What kind of camera are you using? You're pics are always very good.
Thanks again.
I'm glad you like the pics. I always feel like the pics of my full size displays turn out a little lackluster mostly due to the limitations of the space that they are displayed in. I can't light them very well. The camera is pretty old. It's a 2.1 megapixel olympus which totally needs to be upgraded.
Impressive.......most impressive.
But then again you already knew that.

Looks great! What brand/make of silver did you use to brush paint?
I'm thinking of spraying the gunmetal from an aerosol into a cup and using that to brush paint when i finaly get around to repainting mine.
Keith.
Gino,
LOVE your vader...its always a treat to see what you are up to
Cheers,
~Kevin
