Hey, I just thought I'd share some pics of a little side project I've been working on over the summer in my (very) limited spare time.

The sculpt is very nearly ready to go into some rubber, the hands need refining and a final texture over the whole body, then I've got to make up his little Shisha.

How are you planning to make the Shisha? Sculpt or scratch build?

A bit if both I think. It's pretty intricate, and small at this scale, I'll take a look around the beads in the craft shop to see if there is anything suitable there to use as a base.

Nicely done. Never really noticed how Jabba the Hutt this character is - even down to the smoking pipe.

I know, it's pretty crazy, the FX guys who designed him must have seen it!

It won't be difficult to cast a few more of these up if people want one. I'll mold him up and get a cast out before I put an interest thread up in the JY.

Great job!!!!!!! I can't wait to see him all painted up!
