ADAMA FAMILY LIGHTER *DONE*

So, hereÂ’s my contribution to the prop community this month.

A fully engraved, RegenÂ’s lighter with the correct font for the ADAMA Family Lighter from BSG TNS. Its been a LONG road, and many false starts, but I finally found a place that could get these done, and after a HEFTY setup fee and a high but reasonable for the type of engraving (100% hand, off screencaps&#33 that these are being done with, and many screen caps, actual font modification etc here it is without further fanfare.

This is the prototype proof, without any chemical blackening or additional weathering. Ignore the Masonic “plate”, its just the proto, I didn’t want to waste a full bore real lighter if I wasn’t happy with the engraving.

Needless to say, I am happy, VERY happy, and look for a JY post soon for the excess of my first run . . .


I will be also doing another run of engraving for those of you WITH the lighter already, price TBD. Again, I will post in the JY when I have more info like final price breakdown etc.


Barring the discovery of a hidden cache of the correct chrome lighter, I doubt IÂ’ll be doing more 100% finished, and you will need to supply the lighter for the engraving run. Buying these on ebay just isnÂ’t worth it to me anymore, too much bidding. I imagine the ebay price is going to jump now, but at least IÂ’ve got mine and a few for my friends, FINALLY!!
