Thanks guys. Yeah Alan, you should see this headpiece in person. It is truly amazing! (Now all I need is a Sankara Stone, Holy Grail, Grail diary, screen-accurate holster, Cross of Coronado,...whew!...Indy sure did have a lot of crap! :lol) The statue from Indy's desk came from an auction that was posted in the Junkyard. Just got this stone and it's perfect. A simple prop that that is very hard to get right. I assume you know about it but just in case. This one is perfect, the best, etc IMO. Unlike every other dam thing it's cheap as well.

Well, unfortunately it looks like the building of our home-theater is going to have to wait for at least another year, so I've decided to go ahead and unpack all of my props once again, since I'd hate to have to be without them for that long. Mostly, it's the same old stuff, but there are a few new things added here and there. (It's definitely nice to have it all back out again. :))

Alan - I wouldn't exactly say that there are TONS of new items in the collection...but there are definitely a couple. (We can't all be part of the ''one-prop-per-day'' club that you are obviously a member of!) :lol And yes, that is jealousy talking. ;)

Brenton - Thanks man. I can honestly say, your Goonies, Romancing the Stone and Raiders of the Lost Ark headpiece/necklace props are among my absolute favorites that I own. (You know, it's funny how time and time again, custom made props tend to be overwhelmingly better than mass produced items. I guess there's something to be said for true craftsmanship, and actually putting your heart into what you make. Thanks for all of your hard work over the years Brenton. :thumbsup)

Yeah, you're right. Brenton definitely doesn't make it easy on any of us, that's for sure. :lol I mean, come on man, make a prop that's unappealing at least once for goodness sake! You know...like maybe the ''nuked-fridge'' from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull or something like that? (Oh, who am I kidding. If the thing turned out even close to ''screen-accurate'' I'd probably start trying to convince my wife that our refrigerator would need to be upgraded.) :angel

The other day I was lucky enough to score a pretty cool prop from one of my favorite Harrison Ford films, Witness. We live in upstate New York, and there are several communities of Amish people who live in the area. This is an actual Amish hat, made the same way that the hats in the movie were made. I included several screencaps from the movie for comparison.
