I recently found out that i could purchase acrylic spray on paint super cheap and i also found out that it sands pretty well to boot. I just wanted to get opinions on whether or not you guys think I would be able to use it instead of primer to get rid of fuzzyness on mdf builds
I've used it as a primer and it's worked though you have to use so much because it goes on really light.
ah cool! i was just asking because i recently bought acryclic paint to use as a base paint but mine seems to go on pretty thick... infact the mist coming out of the can is so thick it leaves a bumpy texture on the surface of the mask which needs to be sanded smooth....
so its great to hear that i atleast didnt waste my money and can use it as a primer
As far as the MDF goes, I have pretty good luck using shellac to seal it, and I see a lot of builders get the really cheap super glue and brush it on also.
yeah ive heard of that method but never tried it out because i wasnt too sure how smooth you could get the edge after sanding when using super glue
