Hi, There are a couple of articles on the Tardis Builders wevsite giving dimensions for the classic Sonic Screwdriver. However for your convenience I have snaggeged a couple of pics with dimensions. One has been created by Scarfwearer, and for this we should thank him. The other is a reproduction of a page from the Dr. Who technical manual by SeanClarke1 again thanks is offered.
I hope this helps and look forward to seeing the results. What ever you do, make it yours and be creative.
Be sure to upload pictures, okay? Really want to see out it turns out.
Cheers.

What sort of aluminium, I've always wondered, piping and stuff, or solid chunks that you make to the shape?
It depends upon what you are making, and the tools you have to hand. Regardless it is recommended to avoid softer types of aluminium as they tend to be 'gummy' and produce a poor surface finish. I use grades recommended for machining. Commonly recommended is T6061.
my camera has broken so i wont be able post pictures till its fixed
