    Jul 23, 2008 - 4LOM life sized torso. #1

Thought I'd show off my 4LOM life sized torso by Korbanth.

Very nice replica that fits in great with all the other ESB bounty hunters out there. Here are some pics -n please keep in mind that all of the arm pistons are temporarily put into place here:

Some pics of it with other life sized pieces for scale:

4-LOM (or Zuckkuss, as he was called in 1983 ) was my favourite action figure as a kid !

    Post more pics, please !!!

    great piece !

To be honest I don't know - that's really a Korbanth question. Hopefully he'll pop up and let you know.

Over the years I've been gathering parts for a life sized Fett figure. I saw GotMaul's display and decided to just do the bust. If you think mine is nice you should see his ... GotMaul's Fett torso is stunning!

    Thats simply awesome Simmon

As I wouldn't have room for the whole torso, I wouldn't mind owning the head

glad you like it, and yes ZORG...Dan Grumeretz is the talented Artist who I hired to mold the original 4LOM head, and we took a TK409 C3P0 front chest piece and modded it into a 4Lom chest. Chris B. kindly gave us permission to do that so I gave Chris his own 4LOM head for the kind efforts. Elvis trooper kenny had also provided permission to mold his metal tusks for usage in heads, but the version Simmon recieved is the more "antenna" like tusks and not the other version... All the other torsos being produced for people are actually using the upper torso of a modified Don post 3P0 casting...

working on a few of these right now that have groin/legs...so, cant wait to see how they come out.

    Glad your happy Simmon.

    the process for Simmon's 4LOM -

In the Beginning there was clay, and there was Dan Grumeretz - www.grumeretz.com -

then a upper torso was modified for either display statue and also for a wearable chest plate to compliment TK409's wearable protocal droid.

This finished Torso was by Kelley DelCambre of KMD Theatrics -

and this finished torso was by Dan Grumeretz himself

    Really unique and well done.

Interesting to see the pieces of glass used for the eyes and the pill bottles as base for the tusks.

Subtle weathering- not like he was just hit with a brush here & there.

    Nice looking piece Si!

I agree that the finish and weathering is exceptional.

I also have to say that I too was expecting the other guy when I saw 4-LOM in the title! Ah, Kenner!

I think Kenner got the names backwards on the action figures (4-Lom and Zuckuss).

That is a great looking display, the best I have seen. You really nailed the paint job!
