3D smaug key

Cost wise, you'd be better off buying the 30$ metal one from Weta, it's from the same mold as the screen use one so it's also accurate. I doubt you can have the 3D one printed with the same level of details then cast in metal for under 30$ ! Cool of them to release the file though, hope they keep doing that !

The Weta one is worth the money. Noble does one that comes in a nice display, that is the same price, but the details are softer.

If the guys at my local makerspace who are in charge of our crowd-funded metal 3D printer would have got it working already, I could have printed one in steel too, but it would have cost me more than $30 in materials to print it, either way. It is not just the steel powder, but also inert gases involved and you need to have training on the machine to be allowed to use it.
