I am still exploring the 3D universe. I make 3D models in Rhino for Lightwave and Poser. I own all of the programs. I can convert any 3D file into .stl format.

What is the price range for this 3D printed project? ( say this size rifle prop - and the average cost of a pistol prop ) Lots of people are offering services - NO ONE seems to want to tell you what the actual - out of the door - price is. i just want ballpark figures.

Well the thing is that people want to make the most of their 3D printer and will make you pay not only the material but also the printing time which depends on many factors (size, resolution, the type of printer itself, any part having to be reprinted after any kind of incident...).

In material, this rifle replica will roughly cost you £20, but well, the person who will print it will facturate it for a lot more.

If you plan on printing this and more, I suggest you buy a 3D printer, it will really quickly be worth it
