DoopyDoo E11 build with questions

Hey folks..just wanted to share my build with you on the DD E11 . Never built a blaster before ,so hopefully I can bring it out ok.
started off prepping the barrel, sanding seam lines etc... the spongy sanders my wife gets at the beauty shop really come in handy with all the contours

sanding paper with a sticky back helped get the grip to fit rather snug to the barrel

I drill out the screw and 'round thingy' on each side of the grip..I'll add a new screw and 'thingy' later on.

I found some tiny flat head screws in an eye glass repair kit I got at the dollar store that works perfect for the screws in the scope.

and it just so happens to come with a magnifying glass that will fit almost just right in the scope!

more hex bolts replaced

anyone have a photo of what the center part of the site looks like? the one I got from DD was a chunk of resin, so I cut it all out..but cant seem to find a good photo of whats in there.

and where the heck do these 2 parts go (I can hear the sarcasm already)

Those are the bayonet lug & the cocking lever

the cocking lever doesn't attach to any of the included parts I put a spring & piece of tube in mine & stuck the cocking lever to that :)

There are some incredible resin builds over on the FISD forum. If you go there to check it out, search for the T-Jay or Dark CMF builds. Here's a link to T-Jay's build: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/top...m-doopydoos-with-some-modifications/?p=337071 Be careful to mount the bayonet lug the correct direction. Dark CMF initially mounted his backwards and had to cut it off and reverse it.

Here are some detailed pix of my front sight diassembled (should give you a real good idea how it's shaped and how it fits together (T-Jay replicated this on his resin sight at the very end of his build):

thanks guys..I have the stand available now, threads in the Project Runs
Im headed to Lowes later today to pick up more screws for the hand grip as well as my scout blaster..
another question I meant to ask..are there suppose to be any visible screws on the plate that surrounds the trigger? There are 3 holes there ,but not sure if theyre suppose to be screws.

The best lenses I've found for the scope are from superkav over on whitearmor forum. They are real glass and the perfect size. The photos below show the lenses just sitting in the space on the resin scope, but the top photos are after I used a spade drill bit and countersunk them into the scope on the second build.

Don't forget the other master builder over there. I think his user name is usaeatt2 or something like that ;)

Thanks Ian! "Master builder" is an exaggeration - I just welded some steel tubes together and did a little soldering...my very first FISD project. I'm more impressed by the skill it takes to create a very realistic looking blaster from resin parts.

TCSloan,!
Great job on your build! Since you make stands, you might be able to answer this... Any idea where I can find a stand with the "slotted" metal base? Does that base come with a production blaster like Master Replicas or is it custom made? I've only seen that ype of stand once and can't find a picture of it again.
