Wolverine Cowl- Comic Style- Foam Build

LOVE IT, the paint job just sells it so well. Its always nice to see the blue and yellow wolverine, I much prefer that getup :)

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I plan on whiting the eyes out to stay in tune with the comic style look. I am researching a few suggestions that have been made by others members...thanks for the suggestions everyone btw and if you have any further suggestions, by all means share them please. I am working on rounding up everything for four projects that I want to complete by the first week of April...Wolverine, Magneto, muscle suit and Iron Man mk 42. Large endeavor for a full time working and family man, but I am going to try. At the very least I want to get Wolverine, Magneto and the under muscle suit completed. Wish me luck and lots of free time.

This is one amazing build you are doing! If I need someone to paint or make this for me.. I will for sure hit you up!

Awesome cowl!!! Definitely want to see the result with the white eyes. I have those exact same claws in the pics with my sons (more in my album). For the workout to fit your spandex suit, you might want to try a program by Beachbody called Body Beast. I used it this past year to get into Man Of Steel shape for this past Halloween and Comikaze 2013 (those pics are in my avatar and album). The airbrushing on my suit was done to my actual build so it really moved well with me. The program is worth your time if you want a workout that works at home and in the gym. But regardless of workout programs, its all in the strict diet. Aside from being healthier, being in shape will allow you to pull off many superheroes in the future without the muscle suit. I know how it is trying to get these things done as a working family man. Your cowl is great and I look forward to seeing the final result. Hope this info is helpful for the future.

I agree that the eye and nose areas were difficult with all of the small mountain and valley cuts. I am glad to hear that i was of assistance to your build. Post a pic when you get it completed.

i need to get new knives, how foam manages to dull them so quick is a mystery.

Here's my first one, kinda rushed it just to see if it fit, it didnt, i increased 10% and rushed another one and thats now too big :lol

Also rush rushed out an iron man helmet in 2 nights. its pretty ugly but i want to practice my gluing before buying some plastazote.

i need to buy some plastazote. Payday can't come soon enough. I've been practising on the blue camping mats, but as everyone and their mum has said before me, they're garbage.
