Tasm cheap alternative faceshell

I've seen a lot of people using the spiderman hero mask as a cheap alternative faceshell however I haven't seen people using the spider vision mask as a faceshell.

was wondering if someone had done it before and if they could post how it looks.
and if there's another alternative face shell do share!

I tried it...
gutted it, it looked terrible.. put everything back in, and took it back to kmart.. the hero masks are much better and alot easier to mod.

No, I'm using the "hero" mask. its the cheaper 10 dollar version without the electronics..

the vision mask looked terrible and required triple the work to make it even remotely feasible... I thought I had pictures of the vision mask, but I don't.
 
I cut off the rubber webbing with a razor blade, and dremeled it down the rest of the way. I cut off the rubber eye frames, and i dremeled off all of the screw holes and things so its totally flat on the inside, and got rid of the rubber eye thing. i also added some small pieces of craft foam for padding to make it more comfortable.

Whoa! loving those lenses! did you do any mods?
For mine, i did not take out the inner rubber cause i like it.
for mine this is what i did
1) took out the webs using a penknife
2) sanded it down
3) used rubber bands and strings to shape the jaws cause its quite flat and i want them to have an "curved" look . And cause its plastic its easy to shape as it has plastic memory capabilities.

i figured that if there a gap for the side or the top of my head i might consider using swimming caps to fill in the spaces for a more tighter look
 
Hey man do you have any pictures? And thanks! I ordered some black lenses from TJack and then I went a got some custom paint so it would change from black to royal blue in the light I dont know if I have any pictures of them changing but I will check once I get home. I dremeled mine and took out the inside piece and I repainted it (not in that pic).

sadly i didnt take any photos but maybe ill recreate the process when i am able to get around in doing it
