Hello RPF Members,
I have read many of your posts and messages waiting to start my own and I have decided to start working on a Star Lord cosplay for my Birthday and upcoming movie but I will need some help and suggestions on how to go about making many of the different parts of the outfit. I am hoping to finish the mask this week and I already know how I will be doing that, I will post some pictures when I am finished

I have finished the template for the mask and am hoping to post some pictures later once I get my webcam fixed or can connect my phone feel free to comment

Excited to see your progress and how you're gonna go about with this! Aggregating all these posts and builds in my headspace to jump start and go in the right direction with my own Star-Lord build!

I am sorry that I have not posted any pictures my webcam broke however, I have started to gather some matierials

I now have finished most of the mask using cardboard, matt board, and various types of tubing. Now I will probably add extra details and paint it

Excellent work so far, very creative and original approach. I look forward to seeing your progress. I'm making this costume too so it will be fun to compare.

I wasn't to happy with how the mask turned out so I decided to make the eyes bigger and that really helped I am hoping to start on Rocket and Star Lords guns soon after I will start to work on the Rocket stuffed animal " I have part of a plan"

Just a heads up, they are releasing Star Lord's guns in Nerf form next month. Hopefully they won't be too expensive and can be modified to look cool.

Wow I am amazed that I already have quite a few people following this build thank you all....... Also does anyone have any suggestions for how to make Rocket I know that he would make a cool addition to my cosplay but i'm not sure as to how I will make him

I found these sewing patters on ebay and I think they might just work for Rocket

I think that with some modifications it could work, what do you think?
