Spider-Man Symbiote Suit Build

Hey there guys!

So I haven't been a member here for very long but the amount of knowledge and resources here is truly amazing. I've been toying with the idea of making a spidey suit of some kind ever since coming across Lunaman 's post about putting his together. I've always been partial to the symbiote suit and haven't seen too many on here so I decided to take the plunge and attempt to make my own. There's quite a few different looks out there for the spider symbol and since it's basically the focal point of the suit since there isn't much else going on it has to be perfect. So I saw this maquette and the style really caught my eye, loved it.

I purchased Sonjou 's awesome Amazing Spider-Man 2 pattern and I'm doing all the modifications to it myself in photoshop. I've already ordered myself some of TJack 's incredible lenses and faceshell and are in the mail as I type this.

I plan to go with the whole puff paint route over the whole suit, so that should be fun... @.@. And when all is said and done I'll be shipping it off to TrophyWife to work her magic. I'm super excited and will keep updates coming as they happen!

Can't wait to see how it comes out, I'm interested into a build of this suit also for both tasm1 and tasm2! Good luck my friend :)

SatsuiNoJXA Nice! The colours look great. I debated for a while between Orhadar's print and the one I ended up getting. Love them both.

Well yours is more themed around the ASM2 suit correct? If so, then it's gonna be unique. I remember a lot of people making Symbiote Suits out of the original ASM design

Finally got my Tjack lenses and shell in the mail last night and filled out my order to get the suit printed

Awesome, can't wait to see how it turns out!! I finished mine a few weeks ago built out of a zentai black suit. The link to my build is in my signature if you'd like to see it.

I'm starting one just converting an old black morphsuit. Going to attempt silk screening the spider on then just waiting for tjack shell and lenses

Well, imgur makes this look a lot darker than it is but here's an overall look at the pattern. Pretty much what you'd expect but figured I'd show it anyway.

Looking good - one thing I can recommend is make sure it's dark enough. Sublimation dye of black color on white lycra can sometimes end up looking grey if the shading in the file isn't dark enough.

Not too worried about it should it come out lighter when printed because I plan to black puff paint pretty much the entire suit anyway. As long as I can get some of that muscle shading and still see the honeycombs too I'll be happy

Can't do much right now besides wait for the pattern to get printed and sent while I sit on my ass being all anxious so here's a better look at the pattern for ya
