Partnership to build my Hulkbuster suit

Hello
I am seeking a partnership to build my Hulkbuster suit. As most of you guys know, I have been producing/3d modeling the Hulkbuster suit for the up and coming Avengers movie.
While I am a very proficient modeler, I am a slow builder. (I still haven't finished my Mark 3) Therefore I am seeking a builder to work in partnership with to complete this suit in a timely manner.
What do you get out of this partnership? First access to all of my files as they are finished!!! I will send them to you one at a time upon completion. Public release will occur later after you have had time to build. You will be given my full permission to do whatever you like with these files as long as my conditions are meet.
What do I get out of this deal? First off, credit for being the 3d artist that made these files right along you as the builder. Mutual respect for each other's contributions. Secondly a full sized copy of my suit for my own from your build. I do not wish to sell my own line of suits! I merely wish to have a suit of my own to cosplay with, have in my classroom, attend the opening of Avengers, and crawl inside it to make "Voom Voom" noises!!! Hahaha!!!
So what do you say, are you the builder that wants to help me create some serious awesomeness? I am looking for an experienced trustworthy builder that has a history of making great props....
Let me know guys

So the dealio is, essentially you will release the files to someone in exchange for a built suit?

I'm down for the helmet, for sure. The whole suit would be biting off more than I can actually chew, though. Especially at human size scale.

Parachristo , I think I see your problem. Your asking someone to spend months making you something in exchange for your labor at modeling. I do not know of your expected investment of time...But you are asking someone to drop 1,000 hours plus materials on one suit, plus there own suit. In exchange for your files. I understand many would like to have access to the files, personally, I do not use them but I agree that many do. are you offering something worth 2,000 hours of someone eles' time, PLUS materials ? If not, then try sweetening the deal. I understand the desire to have one, I want one too, that's why I am spending the time and money. Good luck :)

Interesting proposal, I am a quick constructor takes me 15 days to finish a mark 7, but the problem is that I'm from Mexico and I see no way to do to get where you encounter

The cost of the supplies to manufacture you a suit, could far exceed what it may cost to commission a modeler to replicate this model. The suit builder may gain early access to your model, but financially it doesn't seem like such a great deal. Even a foam built version of this at "humanish" size would cost around £1000. If I may make a suggestion? Try to sweeten the deal for the builder. How you achieve this is up to you and your negotiation skills.

I'm planning on building the full-sized Hulkbuster over the summer next year, and I agree with the others on here saying that it's a bit of an ask for even a slightly scaled down suit. At human-size, it would still cost a few thousand dollars in labor and materials to get it really right. In my own case, and I'm sure others will agree, I'm completely willing to pay you for the files and credit you as the 3D modeller once it's finished. Building a suit for you to have the rights to build it again for our own purposes is a little bit much though. That said, I hope we can work something out here because I can't emphasize enough how excited I am that you are modelling this suit! :D

First of all I need to apologize for offending... I figured that you guys might be interested... I have a Spanish studio that wants to steal my plans give me no credit and then sell my suits for 10k each. My intention was that you guys could make the $ 10,000 a suit, to recoup your losses and I would just get one of the suits in the run!!! It was my hopes to work with guys that I trust, and in mutual respect we make some great stuff. You guys make good money, I have a neat suit to show my students.
As for whether I have anything invested in this build..... I have already invested greatly in this suit!!! As for my time modeling I already have over 100-200 hours invested and I have not even ventured to hit the back of the suit or anything on the lower torso. As for the computer that I am using to produce this thing there is well over 10k invested in it as well.

so regrettably I should retract my offer..... Good luck guys in all of your builds
I wish all of you guys the very best!!!

Sincerely,
Parachristo

I was not personally offended by your post. I just did not think you would have too many people clamouring for the chance to make someone a free suit. Economically it doesn't seem feasible unless some long term business plan was incorporated to recoup losses incurred. I also do not think Marvel or Hot Toys would be too pleased if someone started selling mass produced 10k Hulkbuster suits without a licence. I am not sure what you can do to prevent this spanish company from using your model though, and I personally do not know a single prop maker who makes "good money" by selling props.

Actually, I'm not sure, but I don't think most people understood that you were offering the rights to do a run.

If you ask me, that is a pretty sweet deal.

You should talk to Masked Rider. He does full suit builds and offers good run for them. :thumbsup

Again I ask what material you want this done, I could do it, here in mexico materials are very cheap and could build it fast but the problem is paying the courier could become a bit pricey

I think that foam would be fine. I would be willing to pay for postage. I just thin that it would be great to have my own suit
