Newbie need some advise

New to this looking to find something to occupy my time while its both cold and between night shifts what's the best foam to use when using the foam patterns got some 1/2 inch foam pva glue and a lot of cutting equipment any advise about better foam to use on both the helmets and the armor itself seen some amazing stuff on here loads of inperation

Usually foam patterns are designed with a specific thickness of foam intended. It depends on who did the unfold. The most common foam is the thinner kind that comes in rolls (I think 1/4 inch) and the thicker kind that comes in 4 packs with the interlocking edges. You can use the thinnest craft foam for small detail parts. Another free piece of advise is to put more detail in your topic title. Just asking for "some advise" does not tell anyone what you are looking for help doing.
