Iron Man Suit Foam Build Painting Question

Hey guys, I'm building my very first cosplay anything, an Iron Man mark 4 suit. Actually not true, when I was 16 I made an Iron Man suit out of cardboard, years before the movie was even announced, everyone thought I was a power ranger for Halloween at school cause no one was cool enough to know iron man. Anyway, I have a question for those of you that have done an entire Iron Man suit before to try to calculate how much I should set aside to buy the paint.

Question: About how many cans (and size) of spray paint did you need to do the whole suit? Any responce will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I usually over do it because I hate running out in the middle of finishing my suit.

If you're sealing with plastidip. I would get 3 cans.
Primer 3 cans.
Paint 4 cans.
clear 2 cans.

I know these are random numbers but I use even more for a Resin suit.

Thanks STEALTH for the really quick response! I'm looking into Dupli-Color Spray Paint, which are 8 oz (226 g) cans. Do you think 4 cans of paint would do it for the whole suit or probably more?

I'd get 5 cans of those.

I used those and they went pretty quick on a whole armor because you want to do a few coats to get the true look/color of the paint.
