HUGE UPDATE!Kino's Screen-accurate ASM 2 DYE SUB Pattern and Suit BUILD.

i think you have to tighten the mask too... i know you said you would do the body but i think the mask is not quite spidey in the jaw/neck area you have it to rounded... you need to see more of mcleans type design...anyway just a suggestion...

That would be quite an easy change, and I agree that the neckline should be a tad more angular, and If he made the mask slightly bigger, than he wouldn't have to tighten the spandex. And Kaoru, has this friend of yours who gave you the webbing files worked on the ASM2 movie?

err.. that's classified information. :p

some more close up shots of my suit build. This is another version worn by my friend Who has better body built and height than me. I used a very dark shade of navy blue Puffy for the Blue parts.

This build is absolutely stunning! Count me in.

I'm glad you're not going to sell this print file, but does this mean you'll be taking measurements when doing runs? If so, can we have the option of turning off muscle shading etc.?

I can have the muscle shades removed for movie-accuracy look. I can tailor the size to wearer once I start my run.

Should I post mine here too buddy? Haha. Excellent suits from kino guys. trust me. (Although mine has a slightly different back spider XPost

I knew Kino Kaoru sounded familiar, you're a Kamen Rider fan~ I'm actually a big one myself. I'm an extra for the kamen rider gaim summer movie

yeah.. I before I was making Spidey suits, I make Kamen rider suits a while back out of eva foam. I can't say I don't miss being a Kamen rider though. But Being Spider-man is something special. It's quite addicting wearing it. lol

Do they have a facebook page/website?

What I'm gonna propose may sound like a totally absurd idea but...

what if we were to cut off tiny individual brick cut-outs from nylon and paste them over the brick pattern on the dye-sub suit. I'm looking at pictures from the prop display, and it seems like that's how it was printed... it's pasted over some kind of shiny fabric.

Yeah, i've been following his thread, really great solution, but I've been thinking of alternative ways to get the shiny blue brick lines onto the blue area and it seems like what I suggested may be another alternative.

I've examined the real suit in person, and the bricks are definitely screen-printed on. Also, they aren't blue, they are black, and not glossy, more of a satin or matte finish.

Amazing. I guess it's something you have to see in person, huh. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Ohh! I see it now, from the previous pictures of that same display it looked like they were pasted onto there, but I see what you mean now.

If I can find some kind of masking fluid for fabric, maybe there's a way to possibly paint something onto there while being consistent with lines ( I don't have access to any screen print materials where I live)
